Guidelines & Expectations

A Note to Parents:

1. If tutoring is to be done in your home, please provide a clean, well-lit space, conducive to studying (no bean bag chairs).

2. Tutors To You respectfully requests that at least one parent attend the initial tutoring session.

3. Before a session commences, confirm that your child has completed all homework assigned at the close of the previous session.

4. Make sure that your child is attentive, alert, and prepared with all necessary study materials (homework, scrap paper, sharpened pencils...)

Tutor Responsibilities:

1. The tutor will arrive on time and be well-prepared for the scheduled session.

2. The tutor will communicate openly with the parents and the school (if necessary) regarding any concerns related to the pupil.

3. At the close of each session, the tutor shall leave the pupil with a detailed assignment sheet to be completed by the next visit.
